Living Our Love Song

Fall Homecoming 2007
The theme for fall homecoming this year was "Living Our Love Song" inspired by the song written by Jason Michael Carrol. Kicking off the festivities was spirit week, where students got a chance to show their school pride and dressed up according to a different theme each day. The theme for Monday was 'Rock Star Day' and Jordan Hallman took the honors for appearing as Gwen Stefani. On Tuesday, students dressed in their spookiest outfit for 'Halloween Costume Day' and the winner was Kiley Broyles who dressed as a female she-devil. Following no school on Wednesday, was 'Pajama Day' on Thursday. Rachel Wagner donned her best night-time attire. 'Maroon and Gray Day' was the traditional theme on Friday. Jordan Richards won the prize. Jordan Hallman won for overall school spirit for dressing up each day.
On Friday, the middle school students performed their spirit chants and the high school classes competed in the float contest. The middle school winners for the best spirit chant was the seventh grade class. The winner of the float contest was the junior class. After the parade through downtown, the entire school met at the city park where they held the annual pep rally.
Later that night was the homecoming game against Sunrise Christian Academy Buffalos. The cards stomped the Buffalos with a 76 - 30 defeat. During the halftime was the traditional crowning ceremony of the king and queen. The students elected Jake Davidson and Alicia Rayl as their homecoming royalty. After the game was the annual homecoming dance where the high school students enjoyed DJ Toni Reynolds and a complete smorgasbord of food featuring hamburgers, potato salad, pasta salad, chips, and ice cream for dessert.
