Public Records

All records except those deemed confidential by the Kansas Open Records Act are open to inspection by the general public during regular office hours. We do ask that access to open records be made in writing to the person designated as the custodian of records (either the high school principal or superintendent). A form requesting access is available in either office. The record custodian will then determine if the record is an open record and act upon the request. If copies of the record(s) are needed, a fee covering the district’s costs may be assessed.
The administration will continue to practice an open door policy regarding patron visits. If you have questions or comments, you are welcome to visit with Mr. Showman or Mrs. White. Schedules of both administrators are often busy, but we will do everything we can to accommodate those who have taken the time out of their schedules to see one of us.
