Sharon Hooker and Crystal Smith are part of a program that began eleven years ago called “Parents as Teachers”. They serve the school districts in Argonia, Belle Plaine, Caldwell, Oxford, Udall and South Haven where they make at-home visits with parents of infants and small children. Their office will be headquartered at South Haven Schools again this year, but they are available to parents in the six-school area.
Sharon Hooker is moving to South Haven this year with her daughter, Nexxus. Crystal and her husband Bryan live in South Haven with their two children Madison and Alex.
