Other Information

• SWE Weekend of Engineering is a camp for high school girls that blends fun educational activities and a glimpse of the KU college experience.  (Nov. 14-15, 2009) or (March 6-7, 2010).  Cost is $95.  See Mrs. Hughes for more information.

• JUNIORS - Sumner-Cowley Electric Coop., Inc. Youth Tour Contest - See Mrs. Hughes if interested. Application due January 29, 2010

• Cowley College pre-college workshops for senior
  • Career Exploration & Transfer Tips for High School Seniors - (Tuesday, February 23, 2010 - 7:00 - 9:00 pm) - The Discover program will be used to assess career interests and discuss major and career possibilities.  There will also be a discussion about transfer tips and what students need to know their first year of college.
  • Financial Aid Workshop - (Thursday, March 25, 2010 - 7:00-9:00 pm) - This will be a hands-on workship where parents and students can bring tax information and file FAFSA information online with the help of the Couley College Financial Aid Department.
  • Enrollment Night - (Thursday, April 29, 2010 - 7:00-9:00 pm) - For those students that do intend to enroll at Cowley College, this will be a night to discuss enrollment options with an advisor and actually get enrolled for college classes.
