National Pedal Pull Contest Winners: Logan Butler (far right) wins the contest for the third year!

Logan Butler captured his 3^rd consecutive National Champion Pedal Pull title at Mitchell, South Dakota on September 26^th. Butler qualified to compete at the Kansas State Fair in Hutchinson two weeks prior to the national event. The top 3 competitors in each age division from each sanctioned state contest can compete at the annual National Championship in South Dakota.

     Logan won the 10 year old division with the only “full pull” among his 23 competitors. The 50 feet mark attained by Butler was 4ft. greater than the nearest competitor at the contest. The win added another trophy and a $100 savings bond to Logan’s college fund.

     The top 5 from the National event, in addition to the top 5 Canadian pullers will meet this coming summer to compete for the International title. Logan is the reigning 2-time International Champion. Butler will continue competing at local and regional pulls while training for the upcoming International contest.

     Logan is the son of Brett and Cathy Butler of Geuda Springs, KS.
