H1N1 Vaccine is now available at the Sumner County Health Department

H1N1 vaccinations are currently available at the Sumner County Health Department for priority groups listed below.  Starting November 9th on Mondays thru Thursdays (except holidays) the health department will remain open until 6:00 PM for vaccinations at 217 W. 8th Street in Wellington.  Please call first to check availability of the vaccine.  The office will not remain late if there is no vaccine available. Priority will be given to Sumner County residents. 
Current priority groups are:

People who live with or care for children younger than 6 months of age
Pregnant women
Health care workers---those who are an employee of a health care provider in Sumner County
Children 6 months through 4 years of age
Children and adolescents 5-18 years of age with priority to those with underlying medical conditions.
