You might remember that the school’s newsletter will be featured on our website (www.usd509.org) and will not be distributed this year due to budget restraints. Although this may seem a bit disappointing, it can be an improvement. We plan to post our stories as they happen rather than waiting until the end of each month. More photos can be available from the various events AND they will be in color! So don’t hesitate to email or drop your stories off—we can post them to the web! All students in grades 6-12 who plan to participate in any sport must have their physical forms completed and signed by a physician or a physician’s assistant and a parent or guardian on or before the first day of practice in order to participate. This also includes cheerleaders. Students may pick up physical forms in the high school office if they desire to use their personal family physician or clinic. Copies or other forms will not be accepted. You must use the approved physical form.
