Cross Country
The South Haven Girls Cross Country Team went to 1A State Cross Country at Wamego on Saturday, October 28. It was a COLD, WINDY day on a hilly course that was a friend to no one. But the girls persevered, running to a 4th place finish as a team, and missing 3rd by 2 points. Individually, Avery Strickland was 17th and medaled, Annabelle Burden was 26th, Alivia Bacon was 28th, and Addison Heater was 53rd. This was the first year that South Haven fielded a cross country team, and we couldn't be prouder of the girls' effort! They made history! Congratulations, Lady Cardinals!
