MUSIC/BAND TEACHER K-12: USD 509 has an opening for a K-12 Music Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. Applicants must have or be able to be qualified for a valid Kansas teaching license for a K-12 Music Teacher. MATH TEACHER 8-12: USD 509 has an opening for a Grade 8-12 Math Teacher for the 2024-25 school year. Applicants must have or be able to be qualified for a valid Kansas teaching license for 8-12 Math Teacher. COACHING POSITIONS AVAILABLE: USD 509 has openings for Assistant High School Volleyball Coach, Head High School Boys Basketball Coach, Assistant Junior High Boys Basketball Coach, and Assistant High School Boys Basketball Coach. SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS:  If interested in becoming a substitute teacher, call Daniel Farley, Superintendent, at 620-892-5215x1. Must have 60 hours college credit and substitute certificate from KSDE. SUBSTITUTE BUS DRIVERS: If interested in becoming a substitute bus driver, fill out the classified job application below and return to Daniel Farley at the USD 509 District Office or call 620-892-5215x1. Must have or be able to get a CDL with school bus and air brake endorsements. Contact the Distict Office for salary information. EOE
