South Haven Students Show at Kansas State Fair — Happy Hustler 4-Hers and South Haven FFA students showed animals at the Kansas State Fair the first weekend of the Fair. Cole Spencer placed 10th with his crossbred gilt. Henry Theurer showed three beef animals, placing 3rd, 8th and 7th in his classes. Michell Tevington showed two goats, placing 8th and 10th in her classes. She also showed in goat showmanship. Congratulations to these students!

Parents as Teachers Parent Educator Wanted

USD 359 Argonia Parents As Teachers Consortium (Serving School Districts: Argonia, Belle Plaine, Caldwell, Oxford, South Haven and Udall Ks.) is seeking a
part-time Parents as Teachers- Parent Educator (10-17 hours per week). This home-visiting position serves families with children from prenatal through preschool age, utilizing the Parents as Teachers curriculum (which new hires will become certified in).

Ben Russell Receives the FFA American Degree

Ben Russell, former member and officer of the South Haven FFA Chapter, receives the FFA American Degree on October 26, 2024, at the FFA Convention. The FFA American Degree is the highest degree in the National FFA organization.
